Celebrate this Christmas Day Lunch 2023 at BangPop and enjoy the vibrant flavours of hawker-style Thai cuisine with family and friends and leave the dishes to us!
With no set menus for Christmas lunch, you can enjoy our usual exceptional dishes and indulge in some exclusive festive specials whilst enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of our venue alongside the Yarra River and overlooking the Melbourne CBD. Our mix masters will also be shaking up some exquisite Thai style holiday-themed cocktails for you to enjoy whilst enjoying your Xmas lunch.

A 15% surcharge applies on all public holidays.
A payment $85 per person (including children) required at the time of booking which is put towards your total bill. The minimum spend is calculated per person but can be used collectively by the table so you can enjoy our delicious Thai food.
For groups of 8 and above, our BlingBling sharing menu is required for everyone at the table.
Children in large groups may order from our children’s menu however you will need to notify us at time of booking if this is the case.

For both inside and terrace seating you will pay a specified amount for your food and beverage in advance that will be deducted from your bill
On key event days we would normally provide a set menu however we reckon we should focus on what we do best and that’s serving awesome Thai food as we do every day! We ask for a minimum spend so that we can provide our full menu for you to enjoy.
Yes we are a family friendly venue, children are welcome and can order from our kids menu.
The minimum spend is calculated per person but applies to the entire reservation so for this reason, children also require the same minimum spend as adults. You can use your credit for food and drink for the entire reservation rather than just the child.
We pride ourselves on fast and efficient service. Large groups with individual orders slow down our kitchen meaning that we cannot deliver our standard of fantastic service. The Bling Bling menu also showcases our delicious meals and is great value so everyone wins!

Please be advised that your Christmas Day lunch booking is strictly for a duration of 2 hours from your booking time and we will be re-reserving your table for another group immediately following this. We strongly advise you arrive with plenty of time to spare to get the most out of your experience!
Riverside Terrace is our outdoor space adjacent to the Yarra with view of the Melbourne CBD. It is outdoors, under cover with awnings that can be lowered and is generally pleasant in almost all weather.
As we will be heavily booked on Christmas Day we will probably not have room to move you inside if there is adverse weather.
No you can book seperately, we just need the name of the first booking that was made. Don’t forget to let them know what time and the area you have booked so they’re not sat in a different space! All groups of 8 or more will be provided with our Bling Bling sharing banquette menu.
Bling Bling Sharing Banquet $74pp + 15% SC: Entrees: Sesame Rice Crackers, Red Curry Fish Cakes, Crispy Rice w/ herbs & peanuts. Mains: Lamb Shank Panang Curry, Beef Short Rib w/ chili caramel, Pork Belly w/ gai lan. Dessert: Mango Panna Cotta, meringue, Thai doughnut, custard, tea ice cream.
Yes you can however they will be treated as multiple small tables for ordering and allocation purposes. Preference will be given to those who have booked the Bling Bling banquet or their large group. Every effort will be made to seat your tables together however no guarantee can be made.
You will have the opportunity to outline the number of children under 12 that will be attending that would like to order from the children’s menu. The minimum spend of $85 for that child will still apply. For further detail on minimum spends please consult that FAQ item.
If the time and space is no longer available at the time the additional group members are seeking to book then please contact the organiser via the link below and we will look into where we can fit you.
You may change your numbers or cancel your reservation for Christmas Day Lunch at any time until November 25th 2022.
After November 25th 2023 your Christmas Day Lunch booking will be confirmed at the number specified and we will not be issuing any refunds. If you do not reach your minimum spend on the day we will not be issuing refunds.
