Our menu has many options for vegans and vegetarians and it also many outlines options for other dietary requirements and allergies.
We have also partnered with Foodini who can provide you with a customised menu based on your requirements
However, if you have a life threatening or extremely serious allergy it is essential that you notify us at time of booking.
Yes! All of our meat, excluding our pork, is Halal. We use certified Halal suppliers and take the necessary steps to provide Halal meals.
Inside: Our vibrant and colourful inside dining space is comprised of two spaces, one with large communal dining tables, high bars and bar seating around our famous lego bar. The other is an intimate nook with low bar and table seating.
Riverside Terrace: Our outdoor space adjacent to the Yarra with view of the Melbourne CBD. It is outdoors, under cover and generally pleasant in most weather.
TukTuk Nook: TukTuk Nook offers an exclusive space for your event, ensuring privacy and an intimate atmosphere. It can accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, making it versatile for your needs.
Alfresco: Tucked away on the MCEC side of our venue surrounded by plants and colour typically BangPop! This space is outdoors however there is shade from the sun.

We accept bookings of up to 12 people inside and 8 people on our terrace without the need for a set menu. You can go right ahead and check the availability and book this in yourself if you tick both of those boxes by scrolling up to the widget above. If you have a larger group, click here to enquire.

For groups over 12 inside or 8 on the terrace, we need to coordinate quite a bit both with table setup and in the kitchen.
For this reason, we request you select a sharing style menu.

The largest “out of the box” table size we have on our terrace is for 8 people. Anything over this will require some coordination and a sharing-style menu. Click here to enquire for more than 8 people on our terrace.
We do our Journey to Thailand Bottomless Brunch on weekends and public holidays* from 12.30pm – 2.00pm.

The closest train station is Southern Cross Station, which is located approximately a 15-minute walk from BangPop but it is much easier to jump on the 96, 109 or 12 trams from there and alight at the Casino/MCEC stop 124a and take the short picturesque walk along the Yarra to our door.
Yes, we charge a 15% surcharge to assist with additional operational costs associated with providing our delicious Thai food and cocktails on public holidays. The surcharge does not apply to special event ticket sales.
You are more than welcome to bring in a celebration cake so long as it is prepared in a commercial kitchen. A cakeage fee of $2.50 per person will apply to store, cut & serve.
Due to impact to our business “no-shows” have we require a credit card guarantee for bookings of 9 or more people and on some key event days, no money is held or taken as a deposit.
We request that you provide your credit card details as a guarantee only.
Your card will not be charged unless you fail to show up, numbers decrease or cancel without at least 12 hours notice.
In this case you will be charged a $22 no-show fee per person.
